Our chefs have whipped up a tasty high tea menu brimming with morsels that will delight your taste buds with traditional scones, delicate finger sandwiches, and freshly baked sweet and savoury treats innovatively crafted using flair and fresh locally sourced ingredients.

Moraine Lodge is an experience in itself. Perhaps one of New Zealand’s most unique venues, Moraine Lodge decor reflects the ancient moraine on which the lodge stands with travertine floors, a huge classical fireplace, antique chandelier wrapped with rich velvet and leather. The Lodge overlooks the Ben Oahu ranges and tawny farmscapes of the Mackenzie Basin with an outdoor patio. The Lodge is elegant and luxurious and the perfect space for a genteel experience from times past with people who are special in your life.

Includes: High tea and a complimentary glass of NZ Bubbles or Pimms. Vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options available on request.

Beverages, freshly brewed gourmet Dilmah teas or barista coffee is available to purchase.

CANCELLATION

Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred.

If Moraine Lodge needs to cancel the event for reasons outside of its control, a full refund will be given.

We created the Pukaki Wine Cellar and Observatory to share the beauty of the Dark Sky Reserve with our guests through small, private gatherings in a comfortable, intimate setting. A wonderful mind and soul retreat with the best view NZ possibly can offer. Best view of all places we stayed in NZ this trip and best meal cooked by Chef Tom. The hosts, Luke and Kaye, are very lovely and attentive to every detail. We did a private stargazing tour and it was marvelous! Luke gave us a tour of the universe. There are lots of activities you can choose from, including tennis, spa, hot tub, sauna, croquet, etc. Best experience of all traveling time.
